Firstly, I have to say those moments when wildlife appear to smile for the camera make me smile back upon reviewing the photos (Photo #1). 

And who could resist an adorable spring lamb exploring what his/her new world has to offer (Photo #2 & Photo #3), still young enough to stay close to Mum's side.

The lamb was one of several in a nursery group, grazing in a lush meadow with wildflowers in abundance. There was, however, some time allotted to pawing/digging into the soil for what I assume were minerals such as leftover salt from this past Winter (Photo #4 & Photo #5). (The meadow is close to a winding road, with steep rocky cliffs & salted during the Winter months.)

And to finish to the count, is one of the females (Photo #6), sampling one of those purple flowers.
