Wonder what the equivalent name of a supermodel's catwalk is for male pheasants?
A narrow fallen log, slightly elevated and sloping, certainly makes for a great platform for a male pheasant to showcase his bright feathers & make himself known to the ladies.
He certainly has the moves & the walk of a supermodel. And those chest feathers are so iridescent, they almost resemble sequins. Guess that's what the well dressed male Ring-Necked Pheasant is wearing this Spring. :)
