"IT'S HARD TO BELIEVE IT WAS APRIL"

And it's hard to believe that all the photos were taken on the same day within a three hour period. The weather went from overcast & snow flurries, to sunny and then back to overcast with snow flurries.
Not certain the heron was too impressed either with the weather but it was above zero and the creek was basically free of ice.
Although there were fish available (and probably muskrats as well), the heron was more intent on grooming & generally "chilling out" (Photo #1 through Photo #5).
And then a flight out to perhaps another venue or maybe even a destination further north in the migration process (Photo #6 through Photo #8).
