For the past few weeks, Calgary's skies have been hazy with smoke from fires occurring in the north.
The smoke impacts air quality but it also can produce an interesting lighting effect with the sun shining through the smoke.
So a late afternoon, a slight layer of smoke between the clear blue sky and sunlight and Nature creates her own bronze filter.
And who better to highlight a special effect but an adult Bald Eagle.
