"MORNING SUNSHINE"

Mink (North American) - 7 Photos

It's usually all go with minks, appearing in one location, disappearing and then re-appearing seconds later at times some distance away (Photo #1 through Photo #3).

But come Spring, like most wildlife who are trying to rid themselves of excess itchy winter fur, this mink having found a secure "hole in the wall", used a strategically embedded fallen tree limb as a scratching post. A mink might not be very big but his/her body length in relation to neck size, can present some challenges in reaching those hard to get places (Photo #4 through Photo #6).

Anyone who has finally satisfied a back itch can appreciate the satisfaction of quelling that annoying irritation.

And after a morning of fishing, swimming & grooming, there is time set aside for a nap (Photo #7).
