Coyote - 3 Photos

The three photos below, although very similar, have subtle differences.

Sometimes one good shot (or three very similar) is all you manage to capture. 

This is one of a pair of young coyotes I have seen over the course of the past 6 months. They are youngsters, born Spring 2025 and are the younger siblings, by a year, to Dash, Scarf & MC (Mini Coyote), the three teenagers I photographed early in 2025.

I believe one to be male (Spirit) & the other female (Freya). Am not certain who this is and the two did arrive in the area together, with one taking to the top of the hill, waiting for his/her sibling to catch up. And then they were off to parts unknown.

Their parents would be proud as they are very elusive and extremely wary of people. However, hopefully there will be further opportunities to grab more shots, perhaps when they are more pre-occupied with hunting.
