Beavers - Fish Creek Provincial Park, Calgary, Alberta - UPDATE
If anyone has been following the story on the trapping of beavers in Fish Creek Provincial Park, by the City of Calgary, here is a quick update on the beaver who was caught in the trap and escaped.
The young beaver has survived (albeit with one right paw/hand missing) and appears to be managing quite well, doing all the usual beaver activities. He/she has an adult for company. There also appears to be some fur missing from around the nose but that should grow back.
This is "one tough beaver".

It was set up by the couple who spotted the beaver in the trap and in great distress.
